CHANNEL 4 - PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR

Most recent role in a busy production office for a Channel 4 miniseries. Oversaw production office tasks such as scheduling, transport, and admin.

March - June 2022

CASUALTY - SCRIPT CO-ORDINATOR & RESEARCHER

Oversaw admin systems in the editorial office, as well as organising story conferences, proof reading scripts, and distributing documents. I excelled in the role and was offered the role of researcher; I carried out independent research of multiple episodes, and fed back in meetings with series producers.

CASUALTY - RUNNER

Role based on Casualty sets and on location. Worked with AD department to keep the busy production running smoothly; communicated with cast and crew, oversaw extras on set, and dealt with ad hoc requests.

June 2021 - January 2022

CASUALTY - PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Role based in busy Casualty production office. Responsible for maintaining several admin systems, hiring vehicles and equipment, logging finances, distributing documents, and disposing of confidential information.

March 2021 - June 2021

DOCTOR WHO: SERIES 13 - PRODUCTION RUNNER

Role based in busy Doctor Who production office and large sets. Responsibilities ranged from transporting rushes, maintaining office supplies, assisting with admin, and picking up equipment and vehicles.

WINDOWS - WRITER

A series of four monologues exploring the emotions of lockdown, produced by Off Ya Trolley Productions and directed by Sabrina Richmond. Each episode corresponds with an emotion: isolation, reconciliation, appreciation, and anticipation.

LAUNCH WITH AMBER - MARKETING ASSISTANT

Role revolved around copywriting for a variety of clients and creating ads for social media. Skills gained from the position include ad management, graphic design, transcription, and data analysis.

'THE SWINEHERD' - WRITER

Monologue performed in Off Ya Trolley's digital scratch night. The piece covers a push/pull relationship with home. Previously shortlisted for the Cast Iron Short Play award.

UNIVERSITY OF EAST ANGLIA - AN INTRODUCTION TO SCREENWRITING

Intensive two-week online course offered during lockdown via Future Learn. Course covered the tenets of screenwriting, from the fundamentals to advanced theory.

UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL - ENGLISH LITERATURE MA

English Literature masters degree culminating in a 15,000-word dissertation. Degree relied heavily on research and independent work. Graduated with merit.

DOCTOR WHO: SERIES 11 - PRODUCTION RUNNER

Part of the BBC's work experience programme. Placement included working in the production office and assisting the crew on-set and on location. Duties included organising office files, transporting dailies from set to editor, and food runs.

CARDIFF UNIVERSITY - ENGLISH LITERATURE BA

English Literature undergraduate degree. Modules covered the spectrum of literature, from medieval to contemporary. Graduated with a First-class degree.
